<b>Hungary</b>: Structuring and Visualising Information in Digital Story-Telling Applications. Use of Two ICT Tools in Hungarian Museums: MOVIO and HOMM

Júlia Katona is an art historian, museologist, researcher, head of collection, and curator (Schola Graphidis Art Collection at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts – High School of Visual Arts, Budapest). She studied history of art at the Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest). As a museologist she specializes in museum informatics, integrated collection management systems, museum documentation, digitisation in museums, editing professional web content, project management, and process management. As a visiting lecturer she teaches museum informatics for M.A. students (Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest). As a researcher she specializes in ornamental art, theory of ornament, pattern books, history of architecture in the 19th–20th centuries, history of art education, and Hungarian art. As a visiting lecturer she teaches history of architecture for B.A. students (Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest). She has published many articles on the history and theory of ornamental art and the annotated bibliography of the rare book collection of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest (2010). In 2013–2014 she represented the Museum of Fine Arts – Hungarian National Gallery (Budapest) in the AthenaPlus project. At present, she works as the head of collection and curator of the Schola Graphidis Art Collection belonging to the Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
