Eugenia Bejan

bejan.jpg Eugenia Bejan is the Deputy Director of "Ion Creanga" National Children's Library of the Republic of Moldova and Secretary of the National Section of IBBY in Moldova. She graduated in the Library and Information Sciences Faculty at the State University of Moldova and ICIMSS Professional Development Courses in Torun, Poland. She is the author of many articles on promoting children's reading and the development of children's libraries.

Iraida Digodi

digodi.jpg Iraida Digodi graduated Magna cum Laude in 1988 from the Library and Information Science Department, University of Moldova. From 1998 to 1999 she attended the ICIMSS Professional Development Courses. In 2000 she joined a Mortenson Center fellowship program in Urbana-Champaign, USA, dedicated to the Intellectual Freedom and Access to Information. She authored the Librarian?s Guide on Access to Information, and a series of articles on library and culture related topics. She is currently enrolled in the graduate Legal Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Springfield (USA) and is employed by the Illinois Supreme Court Library as assistant librarian.
