Arne Flaten, Alyson Gill

Abstract

Ashes2Art is the integration of research and pedagogy in digital
reconstructions of ancient monuments, data retrieval matrices, open source
software and intercollegiate collaboration. The program's immediate focus
is 4th century BCE Delphi, Greece. A joint effort among faculty and
undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University and Arkansas State
University, Ashes2Art combines art history, archaeology, Web design, digital
modeling, panoramic photography, animation, video and site-specific travel.
